After a few minor sports injuries when I was younger, I discovered that yoga helped my recovery and prevented future injuries. Through my practice I have built a better relationship with myself. I have learned to slow down from a busy lifestyle, found acceptance, and cultivated a stronger mental focus for other activities that require more grit. I hope those who take my class will gain at least one of these elements in their practice as well. My goal for my students is to feel comfortable without pressure to achieve any pose. It is imperfections that make this world perfect. I am very happy to witness each student’s growth and encourage them to try something new.
