Kenyahta, also known as Yahti, started her yoga practice in 2011 on a whim. She had always been curious of the practice until one day she decided to try a class. After a couple of years of an on and off practice, in 2013 she realized how influential yoga was in her life, and she has been a dedicated practitioner ever since. In 2018, Yahti became a 300hr-CYT under the mentorship of Felicia Mason. Her teaching is inspired by Hatha, with a blend of creative movements. Her passions are to help students explore and raise awareness of the physical body and its movements, along with mental body, to create an authentic mind-body connection on and off the mat.
