General
How do I sign up for class?
Click here to access mindbody for our schedule and to sign up for class. Sign ups ahead of time are encourage but not required. We accept walk-ins if we have space.
What if I am running late?
Give us a call and we will wait up to 5 minutes before starting class. Once class begins the doors are closed and locked.
What is your late cancel policy?
If you cancel your class less than 2 hours prior to class or no show we will charge you a $5 late cancellation fee.
What should I bring with me?
Bring a yoga mat, towel, and water. Wear comfortable workout clothes that you don't mind getting sweaty in. We have mat & towel rentals available as well.
I've never done yoga before, where do I start?
Depends what you are looking for with your practice! If you want something slower we recommend deep stretch or gentle flow. Wanting to sweat and move? Come in for a warm/hot vinyasa or fusion class. Want to burn a lot of calories? Sculpt is where it is at. Use our two week unlimited intro offer (just $20!) to try out different class styles and see what works best for you.
Do you have a minimum age requirement?
Yes, at 11-13 a minor can attend our less heated/slower classes such as gentle flow & deep stretch with a parent/guardian. From 14-17 they can attend any of the classes on our schedule. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a minor waiver filled out by a parent/guardian prior to participation. If a minor is disruptive to class we reserve the right to ask them to leave.
Should I tell my yoga teacher about my injury/ailment?
Yes! Your teacher can help you to modify your practice for your body and injury if you tell them about it. Yoga is for everyone and all of our classes can be modified to meet each student's specific body and needs.
Do you offer private classes?
Yes! We offer both 1 on 1 and group private classes. A private yoga class is great for workplace bonding, military PT replacement, or a way to get personalized instruction. Send an email to shangrilahotyoga@gmail.com if you are interested in booking a private session.
Memberships
What is the benefit of an unlimited membership?
If you are practicing at least 2 times a week the membership is by far the best deal. You can come in as many times as you want for one low price. The best way to see a difference in your body and mind is to commit to your regular practice!
How do I cancel my membership?
Send an email to shangrilahotyoga@gmail.com to cancel. We require a 30 day notice from your next billing date for cancellations.
Do you offer discounts on your memberships?
Yes! While our memberships are already a great deal we do offer 10% off most of our pricing options for military, students, and teachers.
